Paste a supported public media URL, inspect it, switch the output mode to MP3, and choose 128, 192, 256, or 320 kbps. FFmpeg performs the audio extraction and encoding on the server.

Bitrate is not the same as source quality

Choosing 320 kbps does not recreate audio detail that was missing in the original. The setting controls the output MP3 encoding bitrate; the real audible quality is still limited by the source stream.

Designed for temporary conversion

The converter prepares an output file for download and removes completed jobs after the configured retention window. It is not intended to operate as a permanent public audio archive.

How the quality checker works

FetchDrop asks the extraction engine for the formats currently available at the submitted URL. It then groups video options by resolution and prepares the format you select. Because third-party websites change their delivery systems, a link that works today can require an extractor update later.
